How do you unlock characters?
The developer confirms that quests unlock advanced characters and access to The Facility. The announcement does not give a full character-by-character checklist. We have not turned the general reference to mushroom hunting into invented quantities or quest steps.
Which character should you choose?
As an editorial approach, compare the starting cards and base Foresight shown in your game. Prefer a combination whose conditions you understand while learning the two-deck loop. We do not have enough evidence to rank the five characters or assign definitive playstyles.
